Keeping up with the times on Paynter Family Organic Farm

To keep up with recently changed laws and environmental policies, we had a manure storage barn built this past month. The barn will actually serve two purposed for us. We plan on filling it with round bales during the summer to keeo the hay at a higher quality. As the winter goes on and bales are fed to the cattle, we will have room to fill with manure from the barns over the winter. When spring arrives and the weather is adequate for spreading the manure in the fields, we will load it up using our skidloader and then apply it to the fields that need more nutrients.
