2021 is here! And So Are Some Changes!

Who is ready for a great 2021 farmer's market season? We hope this update finds you all well, healthy, and happy. We have some updates in 2021 that we wanted to share. The farmers' markets start May 1st for Bucyrus and May 4th for Crestline. We once again look forward to providing you with the highest quality organic meats around. Below are the days, times, and locations of the markets this year.
Crestline Farmer’s Market
Tuesdays 3-6pm

Price Updates:
Can you believe this will be the 7th year of the Crestline and Bucyrus farmers markets? We have thoroughly enjoyed meeting so many new friends and supporters alike over the years. We have not adjusted our prices at all over this time period. Costs have certainly grown over the years, but we elected to freeze our prices over that timeline. With the continued rising costs of grain, feed ingredients, fuel, processing, and more, we have made the decision to adjust our prices accordingly. We hope that this does not deter anyone from purchasing our meats, but we are a family farm and must ensure that we are able to continue to support our small family farm and meet the growing demands we face. Freezer Beef and Pork Updates:
We regret to inform you that we are unable to take new freezer meat customers at this time. Due to many factors, but mainly the increased demand, our freezer meat wait list is around 12 months out. If you have already been told you are “on the list” then we will contact you when your turn arises as in the past. The change is that we are unable to add new customers to the list. After much thought, we feel that this is the right decision in order to continue to provide the highest quality organic meats for our patrons that have supported us for years. We are doing everything in our capacity to increase our efficiency to meet the demand and get back to accepting new customers. If you are a new customer and interested in getting more information, please let us know and we will get your contact info for when we are able to make a change to this policy (there is not an estimate on that timetable though). We will strive to have availability of our products at the farmer’s markets this season for all to buy. Thank you for your understanding.
Other News:
We have added some new products this year. They include pork sausage (small links), Sweet Italian pork sausage (bratwurst style links), and boneless/skinless chicken breasts (when available). We will continue to offer Chorizo chicken sausage (bratwurst style links) that we added last year. *All products are subject to availability. Prices are subject to change, and ultimately, are priced as noted at the farmer’s market that day.
In closing, we feel very blessed with our family, and are proud that they all want to be a part of the organic farming business that was started so many years ago. We look forward to continuing to provide you with our organic-fed beef, pork, chicken, and turkeys. Thank you for your continued support of our family farm!
