Greetings to all of our loyal supporters,
We wanted to reach out with an update on all things happening at our farm, and also to thank you for your continued support of our family farm! Specifically, you don’t want to miss out on our upcoming farm open house event April 25th from 9am-2pm at our beef barn!
2025 Highlights
We had a busy year, meeting many new families that are looking for organic and locally sourced, high-quality foods. We continued to provide organic-fed meats, and also added organic flour to our offerings. Our family grew as we are now up to 19 grandkid farmers helping out! We thank God for a successful and safe farming season in 2025.
2026 Outlook
We are looking forward to 2026. This year we will once again participate in the Crestline, Mansfield North End, and Bucyrus farmers markets. See details below. We are hoping for our best turn out yet for our annual open house event at our beef barn later this month! We have flour ground from our organic wheats last year and are ready to feed your families. We expanded our steak offering so check out our farmers market trailer for the most delicious beef steaks around! We are planning to grow a small plot of organic black beans this year and supply our supporters another locally raised organic option. We look forward to 2026 and all the people we will see again! God is Good!
UPCOMING EVENTS
Don’t miss out on our exciting event April 25th from 9am-2pm as we are part of the Crawford County Farm Hop! We will be at our beef barn located at 7633 Krichbaum Rd. Crestline OH 44827. This year we will have a food truck there serving our sausage for breakfast sandwiches while supplies last! They also serve their own burgers, churros, and iced coffee. They use our pig lard for deep frying their authentic churros. You don’t want to miss out on Oh My Goodness Food Truck at our place this year! We will also be giving tours of our organic farm operations, have fun children's activities (rain or shine), and also have our farmers market trailer full of meats and products to buy. We will have a few items on sale. We will also have a drawing for winning free prizes at 10am, 11am, and our mega giveaway at 1pm. Our 1pm giveaway will be decided by one of our chickens as it gets to be the participant in a fun and silly game called “Chicken Poop Bingo”! This will be for a $50 meat bundle so make sure you get here and sign up for your free chance at some goodies! Check out our website or Facebook page for more details!
2026 Plans:
Grain sales: We will continue to offer organic wheat flour this year while supplies last! We plan to offer hard red wheat, soft wheat, and Emmer wheat berries and flour.
Farmer markets: We will be at the Bucyrus and Crestline Farmers markets from May to October. We will once again be at the Mansfield North End Farmers market from mid June to September.
Grain production: We will be growing wheat, rye, hay, clover seed, corn, black beans, and soybeans. As a certified organic grain farm, we are required to have a diverse crop rotation that builds the earth’s soils and does not use harsh chemicals. We truly are #FarmingWithNatureToPreserveTheFuture.
Animals: Our animals are all organic-fed, meaning they are fed our certified organic grains, organic minerals (unable to be raised on our farm), and given outdoor access in the form of pastures. Organic grains are not allowed to be genetically modified (GMO) or to ever have chemical sprays used on them. The transparency of growing all our feeds for our meats means you know exactly what you are feeding yourself and your loved ones when you buy from us!
Beef: Our freezer beef return customer list is very long and we are sold out for 2026 with our repeat customers. If interested in the future, please call or text Amanda (330-304-6261) to get on the “interest list” so that we can try to plan for the coming years. There is no guarantee for new customers.
Pork: Our freezer pork also has a long return customer list and continues to grow since we made the exciting switch to a pastured pork breed. An estimate for a half hog is $200-300 for the meat and an additional $200-250 for processing paid to the butcher. We sell pork in half and whole portions. Are you interested in freezer pork? If so please call or text Amanda (330-304-6261) to get on the “interest list” so that we can try to get you in the coming months/years. There is no guarantee for new customers.
Chicken: Chicken will be sold at $5.00/lb. processed weight. This summer we will offer a “freezer bundle” bulk chicken deal: 10% off orders of $300 or more. These must be ordered ahead of time and then a pickup time will be scheduled. Just tell us what you would like and we will put together a bundle for you. They will sell out so order soon. We usually offer them in June or July when our chicken production is at full speed for the year. Contact Adam (419-632-5970) to pre-order yours today.
Turkeys: We sell FRESH turkeys for Thanksgiving that will be available for pickup Tuesday November 24th at Links Country Meats in Crestline. Time TBD. Our turkeys will be whole and dressed out at 12-22 pounds each. The price for a turkey is $5.25/lb. with a deposit required to reserve. Contact Adam (419-632-5970) to reserve yours today.
Thank you so much for your support of our family farm. We love what we do and we love the people we work for. We look forward to continuing to “Work with Nature to Preserve the Future” as we share what God has given us, with all those around us.
